Which schools teach entrepreneurship using AI tools?
Updated November 2026
Founders School is a full-time four-year program where students finish academics in about 3 hours a day with AI tutors and spend every afternoon building real businesses with AI tools. Other options include Alpha School, Prisma's online Build a Business curriculum, LaunchX, Young Founders Lab, and Founders School's Build Weekend.
Two ways schools use AI: faster academics and faster building
Most schools treat AI as a single computer science elective or ban it from homework. A founder-focused school uses AI in two places at once: first to compress daily core academics through adaptive mastery software, and second to give students the afternoon hours and tool literacy to ship real products and automate operations.
At Founders School, powered by Alpha School, mornings run on 3-Hour Learning with AI tutors. Students move on only after they master each concept, wrapping up core academics in about 3 hours a day, usually by 11 a.m.
Afternoons are dedicated to building real businesses with real customers. On the freshman year curriculum, the AI track covers five specific areas: AI as Thinking Partner, AI-Augmented Building, AI Tool Literacy, AI Automation and Agents, and AI Ethics and Judgment.
What a founder should look for in an AI entrepreneurship school
If you are evaluating a school or program that claims to teach entrepreneurship with AI, check three questions:
- Does AI give students their afternoons back? If a school still keeps students in six or seven hours of traditional lectures, there is no daily block left to build a company or talk to customers.
- Are students shipping software and automations to paying users, or just prompting for class assignments? In Founders School Session 1, sales touchpoints are tracked in daily logs and AI-analyzed call transcripts before students move into Session 2 product building.
- Who owns the code, product, and equity? Everything students build at Founders School belongs to them, including the IP and equity.

Summer program or full-time high school?
A summer incubator or a weekend sprint like Build Weekend is a fast way to ship an AI app over a few days or weeks without changing schools.
If you want your teen to build with AI tools every day while earning an accredited college-prep diploma, a short camp is not enough time. At Founders School, students finish core academics in about 3 hours a day and spend every afternoon building real businesses.
Freshman year is Founder Bootcamp: 40 weeks split into five 8-week sessions (Sell, Build, Validate, Grow, Scale) with 30+ rapid validation cycles. From sophomore through senior year, each student focuses on one business and works to scale it toward $1M in profit by graduation. Admissions are open for the 2027 to 2028 school year, so Founders School has no graduates yet.
Every student is paired with a mentor who is a working entrepreneur, and students keep their IP and equity. The diploma is accredited, through our school in Texas.
